I cant sleep! I am over sleeping in the sofa bed!!!! Im ready to go home to my bed!!!!
My baby is so good she sleeps about five hours through!
Yesterday was .Carl's birthday and we took her put to dinner snd she slept thru it!
Her naming was supposed to be Sunday now im not sure when its going to be. Msybe the next Sunday. I realy dont want to stay that long.

Good Morning OFF friends!
Yep it is THurs today! Sorry bout the goof! Not being home doing the normal routine goofed up my timeline! The terrorist tots and up and going full tilt demanding out! but they have to wait to daylight! Steve is so tired from working 22 days in a row that he isnt sleeping and the babies disturb him so I think mama helper and I are going to load up 5 babies and head for the zoo. Mama helper is thrilled as she cant drive and the babies love the animals. Pbj sandwiches. bananas and a million baby wipes on board!
I am really forward to the weekend. Adult time with close friends in Buelah one of my favorite spots in michigan.
I will be thinking of Nan so much as she lives around there somewhere near Traverse City.
Well Off the see the lions tigers and bears and let the big grizzly here sleep! have a great one everybody

Hello all!
Well we had a very bad day yesterday!
My girlfriend Robin who had hip replacement surgery a week ago fell in the shower and fractured her new hip. Had to have EMT's help and they took her to the hospital. She'll have another surgery on Friday, due that she is still on blood thinners from the last surgery and they have to get that out of her system. Doc said she'll be hospital for a least 10 days and the rehab hospital for 10-14 days after that. My heart breaks for her, she's been through so much with this surgery already. Would really love lots of prayers for her.

I was going too but her husband wants me to go home and come back when she's at home. He travels a lot and can use some one here to help her once she's home. Once she has surgery she doesn't like any visitors or any one around. Me I'm the exact opposite, I want people around me. So I don't want to stress her out so I leave in the morning to celebrate out sons 21st b-day. I need comfort food, big time. I'm trying so hard not to fall apart till I get home. I know logically it's not my fault, but since I was here I feel responsible for her accident.

Debbie....there is no way Robin's accident was your fault. I am so sorry it happened to her. I am sure she is quite upset about the whole thing too. I have been and will continue to keep Robin and YOU in my prayers.
I am glad you will be going home to celebrate your son's 21st Birthday. That is quite a special event for that young man. Hope he has a wonderful birthday! I am quite old....my oldest Granddaughter is 21!!

Jo, God bless your little heart! If mixing up the days of the week is the worst mistake you make while keeping the terror tots, you're going to be okay! LOL! I know you're exhausted. It messes with your head! So glad you are getting a weekend off.
I'm getting a weekend off, too. Headed to Waco tomorrow. Can't wait!
Went to the Y this morning and did 30 minutes on the elliptical. Yesterday I managed an hour, but not today. Still did 5 miles though. And I broke a sweat. This is good for me.
So, not sure I told you all that my mom took a bad fall earlier this week. A neighbor carried her to the ER because she thought she might have broken her ribs. X-rays didn't show any breaks, but she's still hurting badly this morning, so a friend is taking her to see her doctor today. I'm listening to all of this while taking Benny to school this morning, and I say, AGAIN, "Mom, I really think you ought to move here with me." And for the first time ever, she says, "Well, how would we do that?" GLORY BE! I guess she had to get down and get hurt before she would see reason.
I told her I can come and help her pack in January, after Butch gets home. She is coming in mid-December for the holidays, and she and I can look for retirement/senior living places then. So then she says she doesn't want to live in New Braunfels with Christie. And I say, "Why?" And it comes out that she's afraid she'll be asked to babysit. Hmmm. I wonder if that's been in her mind all along? So I tell her that I don't think Christie would ever expect her to babysit. Which is the truth. I asked Chris a little while ago and she said that never occurred to her. My mom is in her 80's. She's not a babysitter at this point in her life.
Well, anyway, maybe I am going to get her to move here where I can take care of her. Or at least get her in a facility where there are people there to help her if she has a problem while I'm traveling or something. Plus I just feel so guilty about her being there in Nacogdoches by herself while we're all down here in the Hill Country. I promised my daddy that I would take care of her, and I can't do that when she's living on her own so far away.
Chris has to take Benny to the doctor this afternoon, so I am babysitting Reesey. Chris has pumped out breast milk so that I have a bottle (or two!) for him while they're gone. As we say around here, Mister Reesey is a right smart piggy! He's gulping down milk as fast as Chris can produce it.
I need to hop in the shower and get dressed for the day. Looking forward to making a big pot of seafood gumbo this afternoon. Wish I could have y'all all over for supper tonight! Wouldn't that be fun?

Was thinking in Feb 2014 maybe I would rent a month in a large condo in Panama City Beach, Fla., and people could drop by as suits them during the month....not everyone could come same week-end anytime of year wherever we schedule, so maybe that might be a solution: people drop in as they can over the month...anyway, would be fun to maybe meet up sometime somewhere.....we are like some sort of weightloss sorority and spread out all over, so a "reunion" means travelling....
